What Is Hypnosis?

A natural state that the body and mind achieve every 90 minutes. The most hypnotic device in our society today is the television. It places people in a highly relaxed, imaginative state of mind and then the commercials come on at a louder volume. This is not done by mistake, this is taking advantage of your trance state. It is not sleep like a nightmare sleep, rather a sleep of the conscious critical mind.

What is Hypnotherapy?

A wide variety of methods designed to induce your natural state of hypnosis. Your subconscious mind is that part of you that acts upon the habits, emotions, and permanent memory. Your reaction to life events is based on the information housed in the subconscious patterns and you will effectively change your behaviors. You gain more control over your mind.

Can I be Hypnotized?

All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. It is a natural state with your mind that you can enhance through training. The hypnotherapist is a coach. Just like a personal trainer. If you don't do the jumping jacks along with the trainer then you don't receive the benefits. Same with hypnosis. I'll coach you through the exercises, it's up to you to follow along.

Hypnosis techniques helped me lose 40 pounds. I decided to help others do the same. Being overweight was painful for me. I avoided going to the beach, hated being weighed at my doctor's office, and going clothes shopping almost made me cry.
